Promotion of the new book by Prof. Antoni Maziarz from University of Opole

This year marks the centenary of the return of the Benedictines to Poland. The circumstances surrounding the recovery of the monastery in Lubin, near Poznań, and the first years of the order’s functioning (up to the outbreak of World War II) are detailed in the book “Succisa virescit. Klasztor benedyktynów i parafia pw. Narodzenia NMP w Lubiniu w latach 1924-1939” by Prof. Antoni Maziarz from University of Opole. The publication was presented during the solemn celebrations of the return, held at the Lubin Abbey on July 7, 2024.
