Employees of the Institute of History at the University of Opole at an international conference in Paris

Employees of the Institute of History at the University of Opole, Prof. Tomasz Ciesielski and Prof. Mariusz Sawicki, participated in the international conference titled “The Warsaw Confederation (1573) and Religious Tolerance. Tolerance and Exclusion in Europe from the 16th Century to the Present Day.”
During the proceedings, which took place in Paris from February 11-13, 2025, participants not only discussed the key issue of tolerance and intolerance throughout history but also established principles for close cooperation in the coming years between our Institute of History at UO and the Polish Institute in Paris (Institut Polonais de Paris). This collaboration is expected to result in further academic conferences (already planned for this and next year) and, consequently, in engaging publications.
